Hi Folks

Can someone date this fedora from ebay listing for me? I can't post pic however the item number is

271068109019... Its listed as a Knox Bowler model? I like the oval shape and it is my size.

TIA for your time, comments and opinions.

Someone here recently (can't recall who it was) was selling a similar hat, and I couldn't figure the bound part of that brim, the way it points due north. I would wonder if this was the same hat, but that was a much larger size, I think.

Agreed; it's first off a Homburg and not a fedora or bowler. I'm not that familiar with the different Knox models, but is there a "bowlers model" as the seller says, or is he/she confused between a bowler and a Homburg? I believe the liner logo, size tag, brim curvature (or lack there of), and plastic liner protector (as apposed to oil paper or none at all) place it in the mid-late 1950s, but other Knox fans can verify that better than I.

Today was a decent day for me on the 'bay. Won a "possibly never worn" brown Cavanagh Thirty and a grey w/black ribbon Stetson. Not sure what the Stetson is until I get it in hand, they didnt specify but I liked the way it looked in the pictures.

Well, this one has been floating around the bay for quite some time now. It might be a bit small on me, but I couldn't keep passing this one up. Its a 1940's/1950's Biltmore which are rare to begin with, plus it has all the original tags, plus it has a carter sweatband, plus the original Biltmore factory was just shut down. I had to have it.
