    initially, I used a spray bottle with hot water and thoroughly soaked the jacket then wore it until nearly dry but that didn't really make much different to the overall size and fit of the jacket, it just helped bring out the natural grain and creasing of the leather.     thanks Nick, just going to wear the hell out of it now as I have had the jacket since 2013 but not worn it for a year or so. I personally think the colour looks more russet than seal (which it is) but as we know, the A2 jacket colours along with sizes were all over the place back then.

I think the results were slightly positive as the jacket feels a little smaller but not by much however, the grain on the leather has really come out making the jacket look...

    I tend to find that G1s fit better than A2s for me and when I'm buying vintage as long as the jacket has 24" pit to pit and 19.5" - 20" across the shoulders which are usually labled a 44" or 46" reg then I can pretty much expect a good fit.
