Agreed with Mike times a couple hundred. We move a lot of firearms and carry copies of permits and legal statutes with us all the time. Not that we would ever even presume that some law enforcement officer wouldn't know the relevant statutes regarding transporting firearms, of course, but it...
I wish them luck. They will need it. There has been a lot of money thrown at the idea of bringing Indian back to life. It would be nice to see someone do it.
Wow, what an interesting thread. I had seen on Steve's website that the hats had gone to $650 and before that, waiting times had grown to months and months. Figured that would happen when he was picked to do the hats for the last movie.
Well, might as well toss this out just so some of you...
I'll have to go with "sometimes" true on appliances. For quite a few years, I had access to all kinds of electrical meters, etc. because I worked quality control in manufacturing, so might as well test things at home. Our relatively new chest freezer didn't pull the amperage that our 50+ year...
Wow. Just wow. I thought I came up with stupid things... I am a mere amateur.
If I walked up to my German Shepherd with that dog restrainer thing, my dog would take that away from me and beat me with it. And those bra cups? That guy should have to wear one for a hat.
A great thread. "Relax" is right. This reminds me of me this morning.
Last spring, I finally was able to purchase an Aero long half belt. By the time I got it (my first Aero, after several years of reading here at FL about them), of course it was too hot to wear it.
This very morning, it's...
Yes. Last series before Cadillac went to the Northstar engine. Great car. Can't remember what year, mid-1980s. Gold. A big gold hat with a feather would have been perfect.
Had a 1976 Cadillac Victoria Hearse, too, but that would have needed a black top hat.
From just west of 63 -- and just east, too.
Common enough here that I don't hear anyone comment about it. But, there are cattle trailers running around here, also.
I'd say that in St. Louis, it would be different.
I was hoping to hear the use for the tape (ok, not exactly an exciting day here) -- so, if the tape can touch itself, that is if it can wrap around something and come back to itself, then if you can find 3M's high voltage electrical insulating tape, that will work. This only looks like "regular"...
I was just thinking about this subject this morning when I was taking our Jack Russell Terrier, Abbie, out for a walk and realized it was both dark and chilly. Most years I don't particularly like the onset of cold weather though I do eventually come to enjoy it.
This year, however, is...
Some of these posts are just hard to read. Sad what can happen in life and it seems like there's no way to control it.
So, I thought rather than add my situation, I'd ask my son, Gus (his photo is my avatar), how he's been doing lately. After I patted him on the head, he took a bite of dog...
Edward - since you mentioned guitars, I have a copy of a 1920s or 1930s tri-cone resonator guitar. While I am sure there are differences like an original would be built better, mine does match photos of the old ones.
And definitely fountain pens since some are direct copies of models made...
I was taught by my parents that it was distasteful and should not be done in public. I have followed that thinking all of my adult life.
Having said that, I am not sure whether my opinion has much validity since I have about a 50-50 chance of going through divorce #3, which does not lend...
Yet another in agreement regarding sending the cartridges anywhere. They must not go USPS. If shipped UPS, they must be labeled as "ORM-D" which is the explosives classification for small arms cartridges, and they cannot go by air.
Then, there are about a dozen states where it is not legal to...
Here's an update - ordered some of that TLC that Peacoat mentioned. Meanwhile, the jacket had been in my old truck cab with an ionizer running for several days. I took the jacket out and found that the truck cab didn't smell like an ashtray anymore! Instead, it smelled like mold..... same as the...
