The company recently introduced two new variants, the Dark Horse and the Bomber. The Bomber, which evokes the World War II era in its styling, is a conscious effort to connect the new machines with the storied models produced by the original Springfield company. There’s a bit of irony in this, in that Indian’s efforts to build bikes for the military are frequently cited as a cause of the company’s demise.

It is good to see the rebirth of such a vaunted brand finally done right. I was very tired of people riding Harley clones from the custom chrome catalog and calling them "Indians". Indian had a reputation for designing and incorporating new technology, not copying everyone else.

I wish them luck. They will need it. There has been a lot of money thrown at the idea of bringing Indian back to life. It would be nice to see someone do it.

I've always liked the Indian Scout 101, and the brand in general. It would be nice to see the Indian brand revived. I've never been a big fan of modern motorcycles, so I hope the styles they incorporate are reminiscence of the old bikes.

This is not an ideal time to inaugurate a business making 'luxuries': the 'wealth effect' feeling has gone into hibernation. I hope there are enough pockets still deep enough to make this work. How are Harley sales holding up compared to a few years ago?
