I'm no expert, far from it, but I recently bought the Quartermaster A2 from Aero. It's seal brown Steerhide, mid brown cuffs (at my request) and one of the nicest jackets I've bought (and I've bought a fair few!). Sadly I'm not the right shape for the jacket, so it's going back, but to say their...
Hi Worf - any chance of you posting your black hh Wested? I'd love to see it, thinking of getting one myself if they have the leather available.
Cheers!
Michael
Sou'west Chunkie roll-neck gansey arrived this week and it's great. Wore it all day Wednesday and I'm very, very pleased. I think, after wearing it for the days, I could have gone for an inch longer, but it fits great as is, and is exactly as requested.

Just had an email from Peter at Sou'west about getting a roll-neck sweater - what an excellent chap! I'll be ordering today, all being well, and will post pictures when it arrives. Thanks all for posting about these.
I do a couple of days a week in London, but I'm based just north of Manchester. Sadly, my other half's jacket was to big for her, so it's got to go back.
Thanks Graemsay. I've got a FQHH Highwayman with a thick tartan wool blanket lining in a 48" chest and it's more or less spot on. I usually take a 46" chest suit jacket these days (48" when I ordered the Highwayman) as I've lost some weight, and the Highwayman fits a lot better now! I'm just...
Yep, MD is for Managing Director. Usually the boss of the Board of Directors (e.g. Finance Director, Sales Director). I think in the USA you guys use variations of President, but it's basically the same thing. Some owners call themselves MD, sometimes it's an appointed position by the owner, or...
