At least they see the merit in running the old W class wooden trams. I ride them whenever I can. Likewise I try to take a ferry ride when I'm up your way.
We have just changed operators for the tram network and I hope the old trams stay.
Benny, you are so right. I know some people with very very deep pockets, and they have very little sense for anything that doesn't make them a profit, or make them comfortable.
They bulldozed a heritage listed home in a fashionable leafy inner melbourne suburb to build a pair of tilt slab...
I have always been a traditionalist. I try and be a lot more open minded about these things than I was as a teenager going to rod runs some 35 years ago. Its just comes down to labels and definitions.
Having said that, in the last few years there are some folks that feel the need to push the...
Thanks Godfrey...

I have a mate in TX who has a licence to manufacture firearms for the Armed Forces. Gatling guns last time I visited. Compulsive collector with more items than he can keep track of. Nice guy though, he gave me a new Ruger 380 when I was there, but I had to decline - couldn't get it home. He's...
Found this site via another forum and thought I'd share. The site also gives you the ability to overlay aerial photos from different era's so you can track changes over the decades.
