Help a guy out - what's a good Akubra?
I've owned Federations and a Campdraft. Both are equally excellent hats for the rain. It's all a matter of style preference. I ultimately sold my Campdraft because I didn't like the thin ribbon. The brims on both are wide enough for plenty of protection, but not so wide that they look silly...- Not-Bogart13

Most versatile color and asking about Stetson hats
That might explain some of it. Maybe it's a higher level with the same block shape. I ordered mine off his website; no leather sweat (didn't expect one), and no real bow. I love it's simplicity, though, and toyed with ordering another... until I saw yours. :D Thanks.- Not-Bogart13

I wouldn't say I'd wear a fedora with anything under any circumstance, but I think it's mainly a matter of how you're comfortable. The block shape and dimensions look like an old Whippet, but I don't see a brim binding and the ribbon is too thin. I can't think what it might be, but I doubt you'll find a factory made modern equivalent. The Stetson Nostalgia might be the closest you could get. If price is not an issue, I...- Not-Bogart13

Oh, let's see... That would be a 2 5/8 inch brim, a crown that started at about 5 3/4 inches open, I think. It's a dark olive ribbon, with what looks like a very light (almost white) green color slash in the bow. As for what hat makes the next crawl... that will depend on the weather! lol...- Not-Bogart13
