Don't know about the contrast stitching, but I'd say that Grant Weathered is ideal for cordovan. The different colours complement it perfectly.
I have it in two cordovans and didn't feel I could improve after the first
I had a different tartan in an earlier cordovan I sold on (not one of...
Really sorry to hear this. The Sopranos was of one of my all-time favourite shows, with James a colossus in his role. Being the same age, it's another reminder that we never know what's round the corner.
I've just ordered black Horween chrome excel Derby's, lined and with commando soles. The price is extremely reasonable, so it'll be interesting to see how good they really are at that price.
Fanch, as you have black and brown, you should maybe try dipping your toe into the cordovan pool. It's more brown than anything but has that extra something in sunlight.
It's truly lovely to behold.
Oops, got my sums a bit wrong. Was thinking 22.5x2.
My experience of civilian Aeros shows a chest size +6 or even +8 for P2P, as others have also commented. I know the 30s HB is narrower, but I don't know where the DB sits in the scale of things. Sounds like it's similar to the 30s.
I like the idea of being able to add the chest pocket. That way you can secure a card holder sized wallet without any possibility of an inner imprint coming through.
I'm also coming around to liking the dropped front more now as well, so that opens up more possibilities for me.
As for length, I'm no expert on short HBs and admittedly like longer fits, but surely the back length here is pretty spot on being just below the belt. The front looks long because that's clearly the style of that particular jacket. In any event, a bit of wrinkling here and there means it...
I have the RW Iron Rangers in Hawthorn (only £125, so a real bargain) and like them a lot, but my jeans colour has rubbed off on them which didn't help. I reckon the Lennons will be similar but much tougher. I also like the idea of a leather lining for only £10.
I'm not convinced the RW's are...
Reminds me of when I was in the same hotel as the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association for their 2003 convention. I'd never seen so many cool pictures, banners, logos and slogans before. I loved seeing the guys in the cavalry hats. We just don't seem to get that same un-pc celebration of the...
I've just received two samples of black - Horween Latigo and Horween Chrome Excel. Other than the CXL having a brown inner hide and the Latigo grey, I haven't a clue what the difference is.
Can anyone please help? I've not heard back from Lennon and won't until Monday now.
