Given some of the "fashions" that march down runways on a regular basis, these hats could be a lot worse. Scary but true. I tend to think that you don't want too much brim for the up-turned look. 2 1/2" range, I;m thinking. Akubra actually makes several other fedora style hats that might work well. Biltmore Eleganza vs Stetson Firenze
Of the two, I like the Biltmore better. Mainly it's a style issue. I don't really care for Stetson's center dent "all our hats look alike" shape. Too tapered for my tastes. That aside from that, you might be able to save a couple of bucks with the Baldwin on this page...- Not-Bogart13

What do you think of modern "Street/Punk" Fedoras?

Hat color for navy blazer
For the khakis and navy blazer combo, I always wear a brown or tan felt. Silverbelly is, in my opinion, too light. Bald guy Fed IV question?
I wouldn't worry to much. I can tell you that having the lining without plastic still protects the hat. I sweat easily and a lot in my hats, but I have found no difference in the protection of the felt, so far. The plastic is more to protect against heavy hair gels and such. You will...- Not-Bogart13
