Recommendations for a waterproof straw fedora?
Thanks guys. Two places to find the Joe, and some other options! I had forgotten about the Capricorn completely, and that Rink with the striped band is really nice. Nice to have choices. Recommendations for a waterproof straw fedora?
It seems my favorite waterproof Techstraw fedora, the Joe Fedora, has been discontinued. Atleast, it's nowhere to be found. So, I'm hunting for something similar. It doesn't have to be techstraw, but it has to be able to survive rain. And nothing with a huge brim... between 2 1/2 and 2 3/4...- Not-Bogart13

I have a 3-piece Magnoli suit, slight variation on the Princeton model. It's dark gray and not made of tweed. It is a nice 3-season wool, though. Fine herringbone texture. Whoops! Sorry about that. The felt is Whiskey, and I think Tim called the ribbon somethingerother cinnamon. Tim? The whiskey is interesting. It changes with the light. Sometimes it looks almost like a camel color, other times more like a darkish cream soda color, and everything in between.- Not-Bogart13

I recall asking for a 5 1/2" crown before bash, and it measures just under 5" at the front now. The brim measures 2 3/4" and the ribbon is a classic 1 1/2". It doesn't get much better than that.- Not-Bogart13
