couple of weeks ago, but atleast the lapel registers here of this possibly 20's suit...
and just the other day, 30's sweater tucked in to high-ish pants, should have taken a picture a bit more put together but I was rushing to go vote :D
Vintage eyeglass frames in NYC
I am giving in to the fact my world is getting more and more blurry. I am going to need glasses and I'd like to get a nice pair or two of original 20's/30's frames or perhaps something modern with an understated golden era look to them. I'm not so comfortable...
You bet! I wear them all the time, can you tell me though, I ordered a 34" and they were quite oversized so I had them taken in, should I have ordered a 32"? What sort of responses have you gotten from your customers about this? Regardless, I love 'em!
Shucks, I'm glad to have a reason to access all this information. Now do you want to know about Peter Lorre's dental work?! lol
So those are lil' Pratts you're saying?!
I'm very focused on it because I'm color blind, so I try to memorize when I'm told if a tie has slight bits of a certain color in it that could compliment a certain color shirt/suit combination. But life would be a lot easier if this damned 2-strip technicolor was never invented! :p

speaking of color combinations, do you think people in the 20's-40's basically decided they were going to dress in blue/gray or brown and didn't attempt to have a wide enough selection of clothes to be able to decide which spoke of the color wheel they were going to use each day?

I am editing it with a friend presently though. But I really wanted him to see it.
The point of my film isn't a list of who he's met...
I subleased my apartment in NY a few years ago to shoot a film on him. I lived on a friends couch in LA to hang around with him for a solid winter and visited him many times when I moved to LA for a few years.
One of my favorite memories of him, is us going out to lunch one afternoon. There...
The following was forwarded to me, i have to pass it on. He's led a wonderful life and inspired an unimaginable amount of people, in many ways shaping the future he dreamt of. One of the absolute kindest men I've ever met. I spent a lot of time with him while shooting a documentary on his life...
thanks ladies! :D
Dr. Gogol is very photogenic but in person he's even better, he is a huge personality and a quite the people-puppy, everyone in the neighborhood young and old here knows him by name (as if they've seen Mad Love to know where it comes from..!?) I get nowhere near as much...
thanks guys! Yeah, a friend of mine really got me thinking maybe it was a bad idea to stay the night there and tempt whatever might or might not exist outside our dimension, but in hindsight I have to say it was a WONDERFUL trip! The people who run the bed and breakfast are really nice down to...
