    I picked up a garage/trash band from LaGuardia Airport one early morning dressed in it with a big sign saying "Monsters! Welcome to NYC! Follow the ape home!" haha AND this was post 9/11 AND I didn't get arrested lol

    I think the Queen Mary sounds wonderful! And I look forward to affording and working it into my schedule hopefully soon! Did I miss something, was there talk about one event replacing the other? I didn't mean that in talking about NYC possibilities. :)

    I see what you're saying... there would be ups and downs to spending a weekend on a boat, but that is to be expected from what could be looked back on as being quite a rockin' weekend :p

    I agree, I don't think the Cicada Club can be topped! (especially if paired with a tour of downtown LA's historical movie palaces!) I have not been fortunate enough to make it to the QM, but I hope to in the future! I think the idea of a NY get together (or anywhere for that matter) wouldn't...

    I'll have to take some pictures, but I have an NRA original armband, a lapel pin, a tagged pink & black tie and a newspaper centerfold poster of Charlie Chaplin reunited with Jackie Coogan 10 years after their film, THE KID (the poster has an NRA logo in the bottom left corner)
