I had a great time running around in the snow with my bulldog this afternoon! He was a California dog before this, so this was his first snow and he loved it :D
I get my hair cut in NYC at Michael's Barber Shop by a great, cheap and quick barber named Israel. He'll do a skin fade and remember what you want for years to come!

I saw that one too, I thought it was really odd how similar they were just with different fabrics. Even the same cut. Maybe they were something akin to Cagney's costumes in Yankee Doodle Dandy or something of the sort for a local production.
I never bought their jackets, but I have some of their pants and their vests. For the price, it is not bad at all, although I'd imagine you get what you pay for. But $220 for a stylized edwardian-era suit ain't too shabby!
Malibu Creek State Park, north west of Los Angeles. It used to be where a lot of the studios went to shoot scenes that needed to have a wide open rural setting! A few of the many: How Green was my Valley, Love Me Tender, Planet of the Apes and even Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House :)
I think the best bet is just doing ebay searching for visual references of Levi's various year repros.
The Gentleman's Emporium pants are their regular Vigilante pants. As a side note now that I'm looking at their site... their new-ish Higgins suit looks be great! I wonder how the fit is....
thanks! here's me a few pounds heavier about a year and a half ago gaining access with Ranger Mike to the actual exterior set for Mr Blandings Builds his Dream House! Wearing a pair of black Wahmaker pants purchased through Gentleman's Emporium.
In regards to fabric pattern, is this so much different than the one post above?
This suit is reportedly 30's, and yet the lapels appear slimmer than the typical image of a 30's suit. I'm not saying it isn't, but I do think it's noteworthy how many examples that don't fit into our expectations...
The Gentleman's Emporium pants which are actually made by Wahmaker, are durable and heavy duty! (there's another company that makes these type of pants, Frontier Classics I believe, I would steer clear of them ;) They seemed like a junky version of Wahmakers)
The River Junction pants are made...
That's wonderful! I shed my in-relationship pounds a bit ago and was thrilled to be able to wear some of my favorite clothes again! I like the waist on that jacket! Personally finding stuff from 1930-34 is my #1 goal. I like the idea of representing the pre-code filmmaking era in what I'm...
I think you also look great as always! But from personal experience, I am very hesitant to stick out too much at work. Most places aren't artistic, open minded working environments but are looking for excuses to not welcome others into the fold and help advance their careers. I try to fit in...
:p Nooo, a good friend's wife (which seems to be the case more and more often recently)
And Heather, it was Nick & Alex spinning at Motor City on Friday for an early Christmas Party.
this is from friday....
a Jonathan Richard Irish Tweed 8 panel cap (he makes the JPeterman handsome thug caps, which are great if you can get em for less than retail!)
a bold look, late 40's bowtie
an early 40's British SB peaked lapel suit
sorry for the poor pictures, good times had by all...
Pardon me in advance, what's ROTC? All I know is LOTC, which stands for "Legion of the Cramped" - the Cramps fan club that was started by Morrissey in the late 1970's :p
