My new Cavanagh. I have gathered from reading through this thread and The Proffessor's website and another thread on Cav liner dating , that my hat is probably late 1930's to early 1940's. The Park Ave. address on the logo gave me a window of 1936 to 1950. The sweatband narrowed it further... -

Ahh...If only I could play a guitar. Wish I had learned when I had a chance . Looks like a very interesting instrument that you are having built! I decided to collect typewriters a few years ago...haha, I have no idea why. I can't even type . I suppose I could do the same with guitars ! -

I've had this pair of Royal Deluxe Strats for awhile. I think I posted the lighter colored one but can't remember where? Anyway, both are Royal Deluxe . The brown one has an OPA label ..so '51 to '53. The ligher colored one is earlier by a few years. To me, they seem light years apart when... -
