Best of the new Aero bunch

Just been looking at the new Aero line-up and I could happily wear four or five of them. For me, though, perhaps the most compelling model is the Dustbowl (http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=1470). Not only a cut that's lovely in itself but it has a real period feel about...

Fedora Lounge Features - Report from Aero Leather Trade Week - By Craig Brown

Love the jacket, Sloan, especially the collar. Some people would say those sleeves are about right (maybe and inch shorter at the most). SJ

Was sort of leaning the same way but on reflection think the breast pocket is kind of cool – it breaks up the design a little. Personally, I'm not crazy about pockets on the Mulligan (although it's a great name for a jacket). However, it looks as though the Mulligan is meant to be worn a few...

Could this completely usher the shunned waistcoat back into the western male fashion sphere? It does have a slightly crankish look to it, to me (but that could just be the light). SJ

Great stuff. I will order one. Almost excited enough to use three exclamation marks but I shall forebear. You've come up with a great design there! SJ

Carrie, is the Maxwell the same cut as the Mulligan, just with different pockets? Or are there other differences? SJ

As I may have said earlier, this in cordovan FQHH with handwarmer pockets, not the cargo pockets, would be the bee's knees (or, rather, horse's front quarters). SJ

London Stores Circuit – including some newly opened shops

Thanks, Regent. Also worth a visit is the Ralph Lauren RRL (their vintage line!) store in London. Some lovely stuff but only buy during the sale, otherwise you really will be modelling streetwear. http://www.ralphlauren.co.uk/category/index.jsp?categoryId=4955711 SJ

No sure whether the pockets make it look a little too busy/clunky for my taste. The difference is that the Maxwell is based on the 30s slimfit HB; I don't believe the Teamster is cut that close. The Maxwell also has a top pocket, which I rather like. SJ

The Mulligan is essentially a Teamster with patch pockets, isn't it? SJ

Yes, the Windward should be put down. Kinder to everyone. I do think the Aeromarine would be a winner with handwarmers. SJ

    New teamster ... Perfect

Well done, Fanch. More outside shots would be great. SJ

Thanks, Craig/Sloan. Admirable feature. (Should we all club together and buy Sloan a jacket -- or at least a wasitcoat?) Really doing it for me: - The Aeromarine (but I want it with handwarmer pockets -- possible?) - The Mulligan - The Speedway - The Shackleton So we're looking at about £1,500...

Who is using Japanese leather, Sloan? I know jackets such as those by the elusive and mysterious Real McCoy are very beautiful, for example. SJ

    My other new Aero

Personally, I'm impressed with Major's halo. Amazing what an Aero and nice pair of selvedge jeans can do. SJ

Excellent image. Speaking of which, would be great to see some actual images of said cuffed-jeans throng. SJ

Carrie, let's have some more of those hot Maxwell shots! I suspect that jacket will do well. Is the length that Ben is wearing it at the length you had in mind when you guys kocked the jacket up? I had in mind a short coat sort of thing. SJ
