Thanks, Major, but may I modestly suggest that it was I who also pushed for the idea of handwarmers in the first place?
I still think they need a slight curve -- and perhaps a half-inch hem (or whatever you call it on a pocket).
It would need a little fine-tuning but it is essentially there. Again, the lovely collar is the lure -- without distractions. A really unusual but aesthetically pleasing jacket that I would be really tempted to strain the credit card for.
I bought a pair of Aero/Ironheart collaborations for half price -- £125 -- when they parted ways. Wearing them now. Sure they'll last me for life. I used to wear APC before that. Never been a fan of cheap denim.

Don't forget these are Depression-era jackets, when people didn't have two beans, let alone a mobile. Pockets were probably just for show, 'cause they had nothing to put in them.
Interesting. Provocative, even.
Actually, the pockets needs to be slightly curved to match the collar.
I think we should sign a petition. "We, the bejacketed undersigned... "
Impressive Photoshop skills, Major. For me, inset are definitely the best. Why? Because then the emphasis is on the beautiful shawl collar. Likewise, I'd also probably order one straight away. Think it would look great in lots of colours, too.
