Well, no different really than with the two piece (worn with hat cords) where the buckle has to be in the back....and it is a larger buckle.......but then if you really want a nap...the hat come off, covers the face from the sun was we lay on the nice ?soft? grass......oh the days......;););)... -

The "Ike Jacket" as it came to be known was started by our army "fly fly boys" who when arriving in England liked the look of the british short coats of the English battle dress uniforms and cut down their class A coats to that design. They also found them quite comfortable..... Initially done... -
