I think I'd struggle to look much further than the Rugged West Voyager tbh, although it's not MTO.
@MrProper has significant experience with their products.

Fantastic!
I have a pair of leather jeans that I've never worn in anger. And mine are a mid-blue.
If you can rock red, I don't know what I'm afraid of.
All this talk of comedy fades has made me dig out my old Unbranded 21oz. I'm wearing them now, for the first time in at least 2 years.
I must admit, they are really nice. They certainly don't feel like the heavy weight I know they are. According to my teenage daughter, they just look like...
I love a heavy canvas jacket. I find them more wearable than leather, broadly.
Similarly, there are plenty of Aero designs I would happily wear in canvas.
This, all day long.
If it feels comfortable to wear then it fits.
If you don't think it looks right then no amount of anonymous internet strangers will make you think any differently.
That's a great end result I think!
What colour is that leather? I guess it's black faded to grey, but on my phone screen it looks like it could be green.
I would love it to be green.
I've changed my mind, I'm going to keep the Alpha.
In spite of my moaning it's kind of cool, and after a little discussion with the seller we've agreed an agreement.
I'll post a bit more about it when I've got some time.
I've got a couple of Golden Mfg camo M65s on my eBay watchlist that really tempt me.
But just like prison striped trousers, I know I'll never actually be brave enough to wear it.
I haven't worn camo since I was a student in the early 90s.
It did arrive today.
It's going back, because the eBay listing had some inaccuracies. But never mind that.
The Alpha is absolutely not as well made as the Helikon, in my opinion.
The construction is less accurate, the details poorly-finished, the velcro fixings haphazardly placed. Stitching...
There's 25% off a bunch of their "discontinued items", according to the email I got this morning.
The Dover jacket is only one of the interesting reductions.
