Absolutely this I think.
Also a couple of questions for the OP:
If you've never owned an everyday leather jacket, what makes you think you need to go custom to get one that works for you?
Unless you've tried and dismissed Vanson, Aero, etc, how can you be sure what extra satisfaction you'll...
Oh I am my own nightmare.
Since getting my M65 I've been looking a all sorts of pictures of people in M65s.
And as an offshoot of that, I found this picture of Harrison Ford in an M43 in Force 10 From Navarone.
Which is so excellent that I immediately bought a webbing belt to cinch in my M65...
Do you like them?
That's all that matters.
My own opinion is that I don't like boot cut jeans and I don't like the colour (both of which are irrelevant) and I think they look too short.
So don't ask me.
A bit of a cold snap here in the UK this week has meant it was -2° for my walk this morning, so I layered up under my (yawn!) M65 with a thermal base layer and a quilted liner vest.
I'd love this jacket to look like it has a bit of wear on it, but even though I'm putting plenty of wear on it*...
So what though? When I ride my motorcycle, sometimes I wear a leather jacket because it's practical and protective. I'm not in a gang or club.
When I'm not riding my motorcycle, sometimes I still wear a leather jacket.
Wear what you want. Or, if you're this worried about it, don't.
I agree. It looks too snug for my taste.
But as always, it doesn't matter what people say as much as how it feels to wear.
Is it comfortable? Could you layer under it if you wanted to? Do you feel more confident wearing it, or less?
The imprint on the half belt is a nothing. The jacket will...
It looks absolutely fine as it is. I don't think an N1 would fit trim.
Is that a sweatshirt or a t shirt you're wearing underneath? If it's a t shirt then you've got room to layer, still. Which is what I'd want with a jacket like this.
A spacious fit looks cool.
