It looks absolutely fine in the pictures.
The usual rule applies: if you've got doubts about how it fits now, those doubts will never go away whatever anybody else says.
Only you can decide if it's right for you.
I'm in my new M65 again today, because essentially I live in it now.
I absolutely love this jacket and I'm wearing it all the time. If I'm even going out to my garage to bring in some beers from the other fridge, I'll throw this on. It makes me feel like all the jackets I bought before now...
That's how it should fit.
It doesn't matter what any of us say here, if you don't feel comfortable moving in it, you won't wear it.
The only way to decide is to try on different examples, and there've been several excellent suggestions so far that might work for you. Or you could go custom -...
I know it's not really in the spirit of this thread, but I've worn my M65 every single day since I got it and honestly can't see a day I wouldn't, until it gets warm enough to not need a jacket. It really is excellent.
No photo though because it is of course shrugging off everything and still...
Will do.
But tomorrow, as it's dark here now.
I specifically got a black one for a number of reasons. It looks less Airsoft here in the UK than an olive one. I can wear it for work and it won't show the dirt as much. In fact, I can wear it in far more situations than a green one (everything is...
A bad photo of an excellent jacket.

It's my third try at an M65.
I started with a no-brand cheapo one, but even in undoing the jacket to...
Too late I'm afraid. It's already re-packed ready to go.
Really well built jacket though. Feels super tough. My dilemma now is whether even to try an exchange for a Small. I fear even that might be far too big.
And of course it doesn't fit.
I ordered a Medium, which the size guide suggests is suitable for 35" to 39" chest.
I'm 39 to 40, so it should be perfect as I know they fit big.
Except the Medium is 25" P2P.
TWENTY FIVE. INCHES.
And the sleeves are not only stupidly long, but trouser-leg...
I've got a Helikon M65 coming.
Every time we get hit by another weather system with a person's name I wish I had a jacket hard enough to hit back. Now I will.
Lord knows whether it'll fit. I'm expecting to have to exchange it for a smaller size.
