The leather is apparently 1.2mm thick on the Ronin jacket, and it's CE AA rated as riding PPE. That means it's pretty safe, it's the second-highest rating possible.
All change this morning. This overshirt arrived yesterday after I bought it totally on a whim looking through clearance offers. Waxed canvas with a Sherpa lining, price reduced by 80%.
I hate the current gigantic boxy fit that seems to be everywhere with overshirts, that makes everyone look...
On the off chance that anybody is interested, this model of Superdry jacket has now pitched up in clearance on their website.
Only in a Medium though, which is what mine is and you've seen how mine fits me on my 39" chest...
The thread title and the poll title are asking two slightly different things.
The poll says you can have one jacket for ever, and it could be black or brown.
The thread title says you can only ever wear black jackets or brown jackets - which would means you could have an array of jacket types...

When it...
As far as scarves go, my apathy and laziness means that I just wear some of my motorcycle neck tubes instead because they're no effort.
Nothing more manly than motorbikes. Grrr.
That looks great!
Does the collar have no snaps at all? That's interesting.
I like that sort of magical fit too, where it works with a t shirt or a heavy sweater. Brilliant.
While you're looking at Carhartt, see if you can find their Sheffield jacket. Discontinued now, sadly, but you can find them.
It's essentially their version of the N-1 design. Absolutely civilian though, with no military badging.
