It does, basically a handwarmer D pocket, i have seen it done on a few modern japanese jackets, pretty sure i saw modern Harley Davidson jackets with that setup too...
The zig zag edges on the leather patch that the label is stitched on screams "modern" to me, I have never seen that done on a vintage jacket.
Secondly, as @JMax said the tag looks off, my LW trojan has a . (full stop) behind the word "calif", this one doesn't have it. Can someone with the Rin...
The progression went: full belt>half belt back with removable front belt>half belt with side cinches>half belt no cinches.
Here is an example of the removable front belt:

I guess it's the same as buttonned sleeves on suits, they started out functional, then someone one day decided he could save a few bucks by just having decorative buttons and not bother making them functional anymore.
Nowadays it's pretty much impossible to buy a suite with functional button...
I heard there were people on internet that spend hours on forums talking about zippers and stitching and leather...
If these people really exist online they must exist in the real world too no?
Here is the official sizing chart for the Schott 613:
Personally i don't think a 46 would work better, it would have the same back length, 0.5" extra in the sleeves which you don't need, and 1" extra width everywhere which you don't need.
I think for you this size is as good as it gets....
Cool idea, but that would entail either visible cables, or having to channel the wall to hide them, i am not a fan of having to channel the wall for that, and i don't want visible cables...

There is a difference between the Mona Lisa getting flashed...
I kinda agree with you, but i would only do that with known members.

That's a sweet rack!
I hesitated between copper/brass and going plain steel like you have chosen, it really looks cool too.
Hanging them my way would definitely take more room, but the goal is to have the jackets on display, not just to store them.
The plan is to have 12 "chosen ones" that hang...
How is everyone at Aero, Vanson, Langlitz, etc not dead from spending all day surrounded by leather jackets?
If it was that bad the life expectency of people selling leather goods would be affected...
The house was built in 1850-1875, so the wall is prety old...
I actually have one single bolt per anchorage point going into the wall, but two screws holding the pipe clamp shut.
The average wall plug the correct size is rated for 25kg in brick, i will have 7 anchor points, so 175kg hold...
Would 1% UV be worth worrying about?
Would that not be a ridiculously small amount compared to say riding with your back to the sun an entire day?
It's not like we get 100% even coverage in everyday life whilst wearing them.
Inside facings for example never get any direct sunlight on them and...
