Pictures are a good idea! Just of everyday jewelry, though, or this thread will duplicate others.
Here is my little charm bracelet. These are three of my favourite things in the world: teddy bears, cupcakes, and martinis. (What a glutton I am, two of those are food lol)
The OP reminds me so much of the myth about Marilyn Monroe's "extra toe." If people really believe these things based on grainy photographs, it shows their gullibility and inability to perform research.
Who isn't? I think she was so cute toward the end of her life, when she changed her hair colour and adopted a more demure style. Knowing, too, that she was more comfortable in this look because it better reflected her personality, you can see how much more she shines.
Would that be Pink Sugar? It's not quite cotton candy, its actually more of a vanilla/caramel candy smell, but yummy all the same. Make sure to get the just Pink Sugar, not the Sensual, because the Sensual has sandalwood in it.
I don't crush everything into a wrinkled heap, but I like to think I travel light. First I make a list of everything I'll be wearing for each day I'm gone, plus a few extras in the event of mishaps, and pack it all in one medium sized suitcase that has plenty of pockets. All my toilette goes...
After a week of devouring books on dressmaking, I've managed to make myself two skirts. The first one is a classic 50's circle skirt inspired by Ethel Mertz:
The second is an a-line done in cute cupcake fabric:
Not bad for a rank amateur, I think :)
Yesterday was the 34th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death. I wonder how many people made the pilgrimage to Graceland hoping that he is still alive? lol
Item number one is a pink bullet bra from Secrets in Lace, never worn. Size 32D, but single hook extenders can easily be added to make it a 34.
I paid $35, yours for $20.
Item number two is a cute Liz Claiborne 80's-does-50's circle skirt, size 6, 28 inches long, with figure skater...
I sympathize. I lived with Norwegian Death Metal for much of my life - My older brother is an enthusiast, and even plays in a band. He's the drummer, too, so whenever the band got together, it was always my basement. As a result, Advil no longer works on me.
My neighbours behind me have a...
Plastic bumpers are one of the many banes of my existence. When my front bumper went, I was surprised to discover that it was padded underneath by styrofoam, and - you guessed it - more plastic. I managed to bend it back into shape with a hairdryer, but its still cracked and peeling paint. I...
Sounds like you've made some good choices with modern cars. Chevrolets and Dodges will pretty well last forever with little maintenance. My 12 year old Pontiac has needed a few overhauls in that time, and the transmission has deteriorated pretty badly.
