I'll edit my original response and give a "decent, civilized" response to that coded comment.
Let me just point out that one rarely hears the first half of the 20th C. characterized as
"decent, civilized" by people who aren't white, male, non-Irish, non-Italian goys. I wonder why?

I was drinking my coffee this morning and browsing the Lounge.
I saw that hat and thought, 'gee, I have a hat just like that'.

I did end up ordering a pair of factory seconds during the sale.
When they arrived, they turned out to have steel toes, which
was not listed (and I did not want). They also had a different
sole than was listed, but that's no big deal.

I wouldn't trust The Hat Guys to tell me anything about vintage hats...
Also sizing up 3 sizes is pretty risky. I sure hope The Hat Guys
didn't do the work.

retail is a S&M shop in SF, South of Market, Mr. S. Neither convenient nor, for some,
