Brad, do you have some sort of RSS feed for the Lounge, from which you
pick out "Cavanagh"? It's uncanny...
This one is a "late" model- probably 60s or maybe even later.
But who cares? Cavanagh Edge, great color, tall crown, wide brim.
Works for me. The felt is less dense than my other...
There's a guy here in the SF Bay Area who collects Scopitones.
Many years ago he had a screening- I think it was at the Roxie
in SF's Mission district. A whole night of them. Cool stuff.
I own a Good Wear A-1. I am now waiting for my Aero Hercules.
But if I were to buy another leather jacket (could happen) it would

the thickness...
5/8ths?? 5/8ths?? Wow. Wish I'd spotted that beauty.
Nice. Not that I wear the bowlers I have now. Will post my
7 1/2 "Standard Quality" Stetson bowler soon.
I've been asking myself what movie that still is from... So familiar,
but I just can't put my finger on it... HEY WAIT A MINUTE! That's
Phil of Philz Coffee! I'd know that hat, er, that guy anywhere.
Interesting business model you propose. I could really enjoy running
a combo cafe...
