Made in China - Monarch A-2 repros

Wow, no one else is concerned about the animal welfare issues Creeping Past raises? I'm no PETA supporter, but I would certainly consider that in my buy decision. I have to say the leather looks pretty crummy in the photos. I wouldn't want to order till I saw one or more of these jackets...

    Road Kill Hats

I heard it on As it Happens, too. But I resisted... Peacocks, BTW, are pretty hardy and I have seen them in parks in various countries, including Spain. I know they are kept in California, too. They are noisy, which is why you don't see them more often.

    Road Kill Hats

    Hydro-Duck

What exactly is it? A cotton waterproof coat? Are coats like this still made in Canada? Interesting.

Small head. Do you think the leather is as old as the hat? Very nice, BTW.

    Golden Age Comic Books

Hey, or a home brewer or a baker... My vote is for Jack Cole's Plastic Man and Will Eisner's The Spirit: There is, of course, a connection- Cole worked on The Spirit... Let's not discuss the later abuses of both characters or that movie I will never see. The...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

When it appeared to be a 7 1/2, I was prepared to take it through the roof. Just before I entered my big bid I saw the added pix with the size. I would have gone through the roof myself if it had arrived and been 7 1/8. It was never clear that the 7 1/2 meant size or width or what. Weird...

    Post New Hats Here!

I gotta say that, after all he purchases I have to make online and all the goods I have shipped here, it sure is nice to hear that a guy in Atlanta is pumping dollars into my town's economy. Glad the Hat Guys got smart and opened a site. Oakland's hat buying residents aren't always the richest...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

"This fully custom vintage hat is by Stetson..." Where "fully custom" means the guy sat on it and "vintage" means he spilled wine on it? I think it's intentionally misleading and I hope the buyer is reading this site. For that money, he could get a REAL fully custom hat.

    Viberg Boots

Viberg Japan Since there was some discussion of Viberg's designs for the Japanese market... I don't think this site has been posted yet: http://www.viberg-japan.com/ No further comment.

    Vanson USA

Is "loganscloset" guy a registered vendor here? I hope never to see that eyesore of a .sig again... Hopefully he can register and tone it down a bit... That said, I think the buyer has a right to know where what he or she is buying is made, for whatever reason. I recently bought Viberg...

    A Different Buckaroo

No disrespect intended for Major Moore but here is an entirely unrelated Buckaroo hat. A Stetson Buckaroo, from Canada. A nice, white Stetson. I'm guessing late 50s, early 60s. It's a 7 3/8 and this time I did not get lucky. It does not fit me. For some reason I...

    Viberg Boots

Viberg Foreman Work Boot My Viberg Foreman work boots finally arrived, about a month after my "10 - 14 days" wait began for the "in-stock" size. The second time I raised concern in email, they were very apologetic and asked if they could throw in a t-shirt, shoe grease, or an extra pair of...
