Powder. A lot of new hats use powder as part of the coloring process. Doesn't hold up well in rain, either. -

Very curious to find out if this is true. Stevens hats had "Hand Felted Edge" (I have one, a 3X). Attention Brad Bowers... As to the "Lee" hat, it has clearly had both liner and sweatband replaced. So only the tags under the sweatband, if they are still there, can tell the tale. -

Why all the hatred towards black leather jackets?
I encountered similar resistance when I got my brown leather Johnson jacket, years ago. Everyone I knew who had one had ordered black. Seemed dull to follow suit. I note that Allan at Johnson was wearing a blue jacket he had made for himself... I do not hear the same about my brown GW...- feltfan

No idea. I have never received an explanation. Judging from some of the posts here, it sounds like one receives a note from Amanda when the jacket leaves Scotland and then a note when it is shipped from Mark Moye. But this, too, is not clear. So it's hard to figure out what explains the...- feltfan

Customer experiences with Aero Leather
Another data point I ordered my Hercules through Mark Moye at the beginning of January. Still haven't seen it or heard that it has shipped. Not a lot of custom- no hand warmer pockets, no storm cuffs, one inside pocket. I did get my bing cash back.- feltfan
