Sorry Van, I don't know what you're looking for here. I've given you an honest answer, but that isn't it? I recognise that Aero is popular, certainly, I don't worship at the shrine, but then I've said so - you know where I stand.
So we disagree on what we like: not a problem at this end.

I'm not sure about being unable to contain myself - hardly, you're exaggerating a little.
Yes, I do have a low boredom threshold with the 'it's Aero so it must be brilliant regardless' posts - no argument there. Although I am similarly turned off by similar posts featuring other makers...
With respect, regardless of whether the customer wants the modification, if the move is towards more standardisation/fewer options (as appears to have been posted elsewhere) then it might be that this is something that a customer would have to do after market.
...but nobody is coming in until those exaggerated turn ups have been hemmed properly...
...and you're going to take somebody's eye out with that hat..
On the drawing board at the moment. Received the knit from ELC and double checking the pattern measurements.
Will take pics through the job and post them with the finished result.
Just the usual 'oo there's an AL jacket, must try to drag in a tenuous link to plug Aero and run down the pattern as a copy', you know the jive...
Wish I had the 'yawn' smiley on this phone...
Am I the only who gets niggled that every wind cheater with buttons gets called an 'A-1'? :-S
Casual chore jackets, leathern, woollen, or corduroy (that's a new one for me) with Letterman or shawl collars are great (I have an LVC Menlo Cossack), but beyond the basics (2 sleeves, buttons, etc.)...
Thanks Scott, but I don't have a collection: mine come and go as they're upgraded. I've got two now - the GW and the ELC.
I've had some crackers over the years, but I'll be selling the GW in due course once I've fixed the ELC collar.
I'm confident that the .50 cal can't be upgraded...
