Thanks Ted, I thought I have seen that dished out stock somewhere before. Great photos by the way. I have a friend who is an ex-Royal Marine commando. He tells me the big sniper rifle is not designed for shooting people, but rather for engine blocks and radar antennae.

Is that a Barret 50 cal. sniper rifle and later a German FB automatic/assault rifle ?

I think those are flight suits not B-2 's. Nice pics BTW.

Hi Noel, no throat latch but a continuous zip right to the top. It is very difficult to zip right up as there is a change of direction where the throat and chin meet.

    McCoys M445

I have always wanted one of these jackets. It differs from the M445a version by the absence of the longer buttoned waistband, has diamond arm patches and full length zip that acts as a collar closure. It is very similar in shape cut and style to the Anj4. Real McCoy's make superb sheepskins...

The LW is very square and probably slightly large for me. The waist belt at full tightness is quite open. The Buzz is a relaxed very comfortable fit almost like a fashion jacket but that's because the leather is so soft. . The McCoy is a perfect trim cut which I think reflects the style and...

Yes they do, but be quick if you want one as most of the production is geared to fulfilling Japanese orders. It is my understanding that materials are ordered in batches for runs of pre-ordered jackets. When they run out there is a wait until the next batch.

Rufus, there is no strap on this one. It is a copy of an original so I assume it did not have one either. It's the best of the three.

My long awaited and anticipated B2 arrived today. I decided to order one of these about 6 months ago, and since then Paddy and I have exchanged about 20 e-mails discussing size and slotting the order in the busy manufacturing schedule which is largely dedicated to the Japanese market. As I...

Any first-hand knowledge of 2plus2 or M444 jackets?

Sorry that was insensitive of me. What I meant was that for 100 % accuracy you may need to spend a little bit more cash. The $750 versions are not true to original construction. I haven't seen a US Authentic jacket so I don't know if they have the correct collar construction with the double...

Any first-hand knowledge of 2plus2 or M444 jackets?

I had a W+G m444 size 42 that was just slightly too small for me. It had the wrong type of collar as do all the low end repro's discussed . It lacked the Trapunto [?] double thickness stitched collar as seen in Irvins and others. This makes the collar floppy and look bad. It was no longer...

This might be off-topic - Horse slaughter

That is a very well balanced answer. I think the companies mentioned might have to source skins from countries where animal welfare is not a major issue , and horses are mistreated. China is the first country that comes to mind.

    Restoring of old jackets

Sounds like a very useful hobby. You must have learned a good deal during the various stages , did you do all the work yourself if so what can you pass on to the rest of us ? Some photographs would be interesting to see particularly if you plan some sales.
