Anybody knows how is this type of leather jacket called?

Agree 100 %. Most of the so -called Luftwaffe jackets are motorcycle jackets often French, from the 1950's. Fabulous designs though.

Anybody knows how is this type of leather jacket called?

I believe these are German coats from the 50's and 60's. There are usually several available on German ebay. Prices are often very low. Some are shortened longer coats

Time to share: obosolete style Vanson Swedish motorcycle jacket

I'm sure your jacket is beautifully made and fits it's purpose very well. I only wish that they made one without hand warmer pockets for me ! PS. ever considered heated grips ?

Time to share: obosolete style Vanson Swedish motorcycle jacket

Why O why do manufactures insist on completely ruining original jackets by adding hand warmer pockets !!?? I have an original jacket from the 50's. It looks so much better without the side pockets. It 's a great design apart from the time needed to put it on .

IRVIN NUTS?...the ULTIMATE thread for those who love 'em!

I have one of these jackets. When I first saw the sample I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not, particularly the slightly red colour of the fleece , but the jacket itself looks very authentic . There is a slight colour issue regarding the seam tapes compared to the body panels, but this is...

Aero are in the process of re-vamping their jacket to include a repro AM zip and collar strap. At the moment they have some sample jackets in their sale section. I haven't seen the 'new' jacket yet. I think Eastman is still the one to beat. The Few offer an RAF jacket if you can afford one !

    My LW Buco J23

I'd say it's a very good fit. Initially the arms look slightly too long, but with time the creases will make them shorten. Short arms are a pain. They bind on the elbows when driving or riding. Nice jacket.
