Ps I haven't removed the pics I think they've timed out. But they show the same details as the eBay one except for mine having a different zip - the usual Talon.

    Alexander Leathers opinion needed.

My advice - take it or leave it no worries -Read up on the 'sale of goods act' that's not it's exact name but it'll come up on a Google search. It's the law in the UK and it covers goods and services purchased by you for non - merchantable quality, their opportunity to make good a repair etc...

Can you identify this leather suit?

Ha ha - I haven't bought it and although I love leather jackets this kind of garment is not my thing at all. I was just v curious as to what on earth it is - never seen one and of course whether it was worth lots more than the asking price.

Can you identify this leather suit?

You could be right. At first sight I thought flight suit or dispatch riders suit but on reflection I'm not even sure it's military.

    Shave of the Day

Just bought a Wilkinson Sword 'sticky' for £1.75 in an antique shop. Once I'd checked the value I went back and gave the shopkeeper another £10 - I know her and wanted to be fair. I put it in the dishwasher for a short cycle to sterilise and clean it last night and used it this morning - The...

WTB: Cafe Racer (black) in size 40/42

Gumtree is always worth a look. It's not as safe as eBay as sellers don't always have PayPal but there are some bargains to be had. In the past I've picked up 2 Moulton Apb bikes., a tri - lamina pan set - all cheap. and a couple of weeks ago I bagged a new with tags Vanson Comet (armor version)...

So good to see proper beers being brewed in the US.

If you like IPA then try and get hold of a bottle of Jaipur - produced by the Thornbridge Brewery in Bakewell Derbyshire. Fortnum and Mason stock it if you're ever in London. In some Sheffield pubs e.g. My local 'The Greystones' it's sold bottled and draught. IMHO it's one of the best beers in...

    Make Me A Leather Blanket

Buy yourself a leather hide and a micro fleece blanket or a Pendleton if you've got cash to spare and make your own and it won't cost much more than a few hundred. Or get a dressmaker or upholsterer to do the stitching on hide and blanket you've chosen. Pendleton sell leather strap blanket...

    ID help "Ameco" Jacket

AMECO appears to be a civilian leather jacket manufacturer. A Google search for AMECO leather jacket brings up a few but this is the best hit - most of the ones I found were on sale or sold in the Far East. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/261315348728?_mwBanner=1

Life with ONE great Leather Jacket vs. Life with MANY Leather Jackets

I suppose I am a collector as I'm sure are many others on TFL. I've had several collections throughout my life. As a boy I collected Brooke Bond Tea Cards- who knows where they are now? Later in life I collected mechanical watches, then fountain pens I have kept a few, and later 20th Century...
