Pølselapskaus. Fairly normal, everyday Norwegian dinner of chopped up smoked sausages cooked with diced spuds, leeks, celery, carrots and whatever stock you have on hand. Doesn't sound like much but it's seriously good and the kids love it as well.

This sounds about perfect.
Throw in some turnip greens, and it sounds like most of the the meals I ate growing up.

Well.....we never had blue cornbread. I don't think I ever even saw any blue corn meal down here before the 90s.
Blue corn comes from this area.The pueblo Indians grow it.They also grind it on a stone by hand.
I buy the meal at a local outdoor market from the people who grow it.
