    Aero leather...is a 10 month wait excessive ?

I think there must be a problem here somewhere. They would never let you wait so long otherwise.

    "The Grizzly"

I've had HH jackets from both companies and the Aero is far better. The LW has a painted outer coat that is quite unattractive. The Vintage HH from Aero is superb.

    Aviation Leathercraft B3

My advice, like Paul's is save your cash for a better product. Eastman, Aero or RMNZ being the best one. There's a 42 Eastman for sale at £300 on the Guest book listings on the Eastman website.

Eastman RAF, size 44 superior quality

modern offerings in the softness of the Merino wool and thickness of leather. These older jackets hardly ever come up for sale because of their quality. This jacket was only worn by a pilot in his Cessna and is very clean with no odours. There is some very nice surface patination on the outer...

Buzz Ricksons make The B-2 The Few make a B-2 and a compromised B-1. I hope Aero will make both jackets next year at a fraction of these prices at £500

ANJ4 sizing compared to B3 and Irvin jackets...

Edward, I believe the B-1 was the first heavy jacket to be specified by the US in the 1930's. Originally I thought the liner was very short pile sheepskin at 6 mm. or 1/4 inch. But it was actually 1 inch long. The seam construction was also unique in that they were French seams, not rolled...

I remember John Chapman thought it was good also. It was dumb to have sold it for the Broken Finish version. You live and learn I suppose.

Eastman and ELC for the Anj-4. Eastman seem to be generally slightly smaller than Aero as they have quite vintage patterns.

ANJ4 sizing compared to B3 and Irvin jackets...

I would say that the Anj-4 is slightly more restrictive to wear than the other jackets mentioned. The Aero Anj-4 pattern is slightly larger than the Eastman by approximately one size.
