Yeah, someone offered me one but it's not right, and suddenly he wants too much money. It all good fun looking for the impossible !
No one here I hasten to add.
I wonder what Gary has up his sleeve on the 1942 RAF ?
Size 44 Eastman Merino RAF jacket wanted.
All older jackets have nubbly or bobble wool due to their age. Merino's have curly shiny wool with a very soft leather. They were made by Eastman in the 1980's
Top price paid for the right jacket.
Actually neither is huge around the waist, just big for me.
The monotone is smaller, I would say a small 46/large 44.
Asking price is £475 plus post and fees.
These are very rare jackets, no-one makes them, not even The Few.
I take a 44 and it fits me over a sweater.
Last year I bought this jacket but it is too big for me as it is a true to size 46. RMNZ tend to run small, but this one is 25 inches from pit to pit. The main problem is that it is way too loose around the waist.
I might have it altered or sell it to fund another jacket, possibly even a new...
Size 44 Broken finish, very lightly used, new Crown zip.
Slightly tight on the wrists for me.
I have picked up a late used jacket made just before the Broken Finish came in. Same materials but for a glossy over coating. So I don't need two of them.
I am asking £300 plus post and fees if any.
