Been in the market for a 1950s(?) Sovereign Open Road for a while. Very happy with this one despite the verdigris at the rear of the sweatband. Got a nice hatbox to boot! That's residue on the felt from the styrofoam packing material, not a defect with the hat. -

Found a nice looking Stetson 100 and case on eBay. I made a reasonable offer and the Seller accepted! I'm hoping the stains can be cleaned up but it looks to be in pretty good condition for the price I paid. I hope to have it by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. I'll post more photos once... -

DelMonico Stockman OR style real panama
Love it! Know that it is much stiffer than the Stetson open road panama but I like it that way on a straw. It is a lighter color than my open road. Also, the brim is turned up more which is a plus for me. No regrets at all.
