    F/S NWT Eastman B-6 RW size 42

Thanks Paddy and Steve, the jacket is absolutely brand new with the bag and all the tags and invoice if required. It's a shame that this style does not suit me as it's a very nice jacket with skins personally selected by Gary himself.

    Polishing horsehide leather jacket

The stuff I use is a liquid that spreads easily is invisible and non greasy. Any wax could cause a build up and clog the pores of the leather.

    Polishing horsehide leather jacket

I use Kiwi natural shoe shine in a plastic bottle with a sponge applicator. It's clear and dries non sticky and is designed for leather. It cost me a couple of pounds from a shoe repair bar. Try an area under the arm first as the surface of your leather may be porous.

    Chapal leathers

Chapal invented the acrylic coating on B-3 type jackets and had a factory in the US during WW2.

    Chapal leathers

I used to own one of their B-3's. A shop in London called Grand Prix Racewear stocked Chapal and Aero jackets, but has now closed. My B-3 cost £350 from Chapal before the Euro was adopted, since then prices have gone silly.

Question: what's the purpose for the elastic on the back of an Irvin jacket's collar?

I actually do this in cold weather to keep my ears warm, my wife says I look stupid though...
