    Be very careful about cooking leather. I recently destroyed a very beautiful RAF jacket using this method and had to throw it in the bin .

    I think many of us have gone overboard with the heavy leather desire, it's great for protection on a motorbike, but can be tiring to wear.

    The Lost Worlds A-1 is beautifully made as are all their jackets, but the leather is too thick for the design. They are much better in Capeskin as were the originals.

    Then you are lucky as RAF jackets look best when they are too big. So many wartime pics show crew in huge jackets with their sleeves rolled up and the belt as tight as it will go. If it's one or two sizes too big I would go for it.

    That is very unfortunate. Gary gets hundreds of emails a week but that is no excuse. I always telephone, but that may not be an option if you are abroad in a different time zone.

    If you are near to the factory why not visit Aero to try one on ? Eastman sell several variations of B-3 and probably have the edge on authenticity as Aero are really civi jacket makers. That said Aero will make a very solid jacket and will be prepared to custom make it if you need anything...
