Then you are lucky as RAF jackets look best when they are too big. So many wartime pics show crew in huge jackets with their sleeves rolled up and the belt as tight as it will go.
If it's one or two sizes too big I would go for it.
That is very unfortunate. Gary gets hundreds of emails a week but that is no excuse.
I always telephone, but that may not be an option if you are abroad in a different time zone.
If you are near to the factory why not visit Aero to try one on ?
Eastman sell several variations of B-3 and probably have the edge on authenticity as Aero are really civi jacket makers. That said Aero will make a very solid jacket and will be prepared to custom make it if you need anything...
Nice jacket, but not sure if I would pay $900 for one. I have the A-1 type washed goatskin version made in turkey, it's one of my favourites.
I wonder who makes this one ?
It was cheaper here -

High prices yes, but I have never experienced any quality issues with Eastman. My only dislike the the Crown zip which I hate. Construction and materials are all very good. If there were ever a problem I know it would be sorted with out any quibbles from Gary and the team. Allan has even...
Edward,
I hope you are enjoying the B-3. We are due to have very cold October here in the UK so it may have an outing soon. I used to have an Aero B-3 and was very happy with it. Solidly made out of very thick sheepskin,it now lives in Norway and sees loads of wear.
I would say it is as good...
