F/S ELC RW B-3 size 44, older type

Great jacket of the older type I would estimate 10 to 15 years old, looks like a .50 cal version with the scuffs and wear. Wheat coloured very thick wool, soft outer leather, no issues but for missing the epaulettes. Never worn it so it seems mean to just keep, some one else needs to enjoy it...

Eastman B-3 Rough Wear (Redskin) size 40

The chest measurements seem large for a size 40, the arms seem very short. Is it a regular fit ?

    Flying boots

Soren, I have seen them but I know zero about RAF boots so can't really comment. Lewis gear is of high quality so I would expect them to be authentic.

    Ordering Japanese Real McCoys...

I have had B-3's from RMNZ, Eastman, Aero and Lost worlds. Three of these manufacturers are European and are of very high quality. True RM do make a very nice B-3, but Eastman are also very very good and are much cheaper and quicker to order. RM will make a mono tone B-3, you just have to...

    B3 Jacket issues

BoB jackets were made by Real McCoys New Zealand. Eastman are more wearable that LW and issues regarding flaking are usually associated with quite old jackets when they had a problem with a large batch of skins that was not plated correctly. [ The acrylic is sprayed on then ironed in.]

    Eastman Broken finish B-3

Real McCoys make a very good jacket. None of the Broken Finish caper either.
