BTW, I've been meaning to send you some photos, if I ever remember my camera, of a diner that is still in existence and hasn't changed much that has been around since the 40s, I think. Maybe the 50s.
I visited their website, very reasonable compared to so many others. They have a new listing for a 2 door Coupe that I could afford now. They don't give very big descriptions and additional photos. Now really a green color person though.
A two door sedan..................one of the two choices that I'm pondering. I was told the four door model made the doors rattle that most people wanted the door model.
House was built in 54 so it's not really vintage much but I have added a Texaco service station, front and back. Some things are retro and some things are original that I have restored. I've tried to include the 30s to the 60s. Pictures are a few months old, I have added other items since.
Found this pea coat style, don't know how close it's to the 30s style but it's one I can afford that I like. It's a wool blend.

DC-3 from Mactan Island Airstrip to Cebu Airstrip in the PI back in 68. What an experience, not only "the plane, the plane" but taking off and landing on an airstrip that began and ended at the shoreline.
