I refuse to be distracted by my phone while driving by keeping it in the backseat of the truck with the volume off. There are enough distracted idiots on the road with no need for me to be one of them.

During the past month: the latest season of Peaky Blinders, some NFL, some UFC, Jack Ryan, and some Andy Griffith. There are probably a few other shows, but they escape my memory at the moment.
:D
It is a show that I watched when it was on and in syndication and always found to be quite funny. Well, actually, I didn’t really enjoy the first season but gave it a chance during season two and was happy that I did.

Chinatown on TCM as chosen by guest programmer, Edward Norton. Another Stop and Watch movie for me. I have viewed it many times and yet I am always entertained by it. :D
Elvis Cantu at The Shady Lady a few weeks back. A very entertaining rockabilly band at a top notch venue. One of the coolest venues I have been to to date.
:D
The Sweet Smell of Success on TCM’s Noir Alley. An entertaining story, good acting and visually excellent. It is one of the many films on my List of Stop and Watch. A nice way to spend my Sunday morning along with a cup of coffee.

We too are not so fond of the lead actors, but with not much else out there gave it a chance. We enjoyed both actors much more than we thought we would.

The first season of Carnival Row. It begins somewhat slower than I like, but picks up as the season continues. Some interesting enough characters, nice visuals, and a decent enough story. More entertaining than much of what is out there, but it won’t make my list of “Have to Watch.”
:D
The Woman on the Beach on TCM this morning. Kind of had it on for background atmosphere and kind of because it starred Robert Ryan. It is an okay flick, but nothing I would go out of my way to watch again.
:D
Wednesday and Friday evening: Filet Mignon, garlic red mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, biscuits, a dinner salad with the best Ranch dressing ever created, and a couple of Jack and Cokes. It was Magical both nights. I am a lucky guy.
