I have few straw hats (other than boaters) with wide ribbons. I've always thought this hat managed it well. It likely has more crown to work with than yours unless some brim goes into the equation. -

That is a lovely weaving looking for its hat. The wide ribbon asks for a full crown. A mid ribbon would probably allow other creases to work well. I’m sure with Ignacio’s help it will find its mojo. -
