Look pretty nice for the price point. Appears to have some unique detailing.
What do you think about grain/weight/feel of the bison leather?
I ask as some time back I tried a Bison jacket and found the leather to be an "acquired taste". I did not acquire the taste for it and moved it...
My main question to you, Bender, is what is the intended usage?
If you are worried about a stitch or two out of place, White's, Nick's & Wesco are not worth your time and effort. These are primarily intended as work boots, where this is really not a big issue. Plenty of these out there that...
Great catch on this "Cat's eye" Terry! Really looks like a great jacket in a style that perhaps should be reproduced. Really like the details on this one and the back of it as well.
@iknowleather (Dena) would be a good one to ask about this work. Who on earth would put velcro on a vintage Buco?
Even in this condition, it's still a valuable and presentable jacket. Otherwise looks to be in rather good shape.
Velcro is is likely too new to have been implimented when Buco...
+1 to this. :)
These Half-belts are not Cafe Racers. You sound like you want a cafe racer-type fit.
This 1950's Long (and standard) pattern are not slim-fit. Trying to make it such may lead to - undesirable results.
The 1930's Half-belt is a somewhat more slim-fit design. but not to what...
This just landed - "cold" off the UPS truck.
Aero 4-pocket Cafe Racer in heavy Horween CX Steerhide. Lots of nice grain, I will do a more complete review of it shorty. Thanks to @GW KY for a smooth transaction.
So is this a label that is applied to the outside of the vehicle? What on earth would such a regulation be applied for? Seems like an obvious theft-intensive action as anyone would know it straight-away. Preposterous idea to me.
The state to the "East" of me has a special license plate...
Thanks Alan for weighing in on this jacket and the company / owners status.
I may look into the mouton collar this summer for this jacket -- too busy wearing it now to send it in! :)
Really from yesterday, finally had good sun exposure so a little better fit photos of the Just Leather.
It's getting a lot of usage, wearing it nearly all day these days!
Very sharp jacket there Tony! Looks like a perfect fit and exceptional details as well.
Funny, I have a hard time "not" seeing you wearing a black leather jacket to work... :)
Regarding your LC Jeans note - I agree. It wasn't too bad for $65, but a no-go for $115.
I have no issue buying European made jackets & even boots, but seems my tasted have shifted back a little more to US-made for boots (White's & Nick's primarily) and jackets (Lost Worlds, Vanson, Johnson...
