Ok Vicenza is good stuff too.
Vicenza doesn't always "show" it's break in as much, but it still does break in.
I would wear & enjoy this one a while, looks great on you!
Very nice fit. Any amount to "too tight" will loosen up with some good wear. What leather is this one? If it's Horween CXL FQHH or Steerhide, that leather will soften up nicely after it's worn for ~ 20 minuites.
Lengths are all spot-on to me. You will not be able to use this one for...
Reviving this thread again - as I have thought long & hard about this now. Also note I am sitting wearing my Indian Ranger - custom ordered for me, as I type this. Still trying to break it in, but realizing the pattern is really different for me. Just takes getting used to.
So here is what...
Dainese / Ragstock update #1 - already have USPS tracking number & shipping confirmation. Coming via Priority Mail, which for "free shipping" is indeed not bad. Now back to your regurally scheduled Finds & Deals thread. :)
And just like that, I bought a Vintage jacket off this site. We'll call it the "Dainese Jacket Experiment" I will let this forum know how the whole transaction proceeds. If it is good, it will be the cheapest Dainese M/C jacket I have ever seen. The photos look good; we will see how it comes...
Ok so this is a different post. I mentioned Ragstock, a US based company in another thread. Then I looked at this page and thier "Vintage" section. They have HUGE stock of vintage everything. I really wonder how they are doing it. Some of thier proices are really good, However note that many...
First - my sincere apologies that you all in Europe have to pay such large fees on goods shipped over there. That really is an issue and indeed it is not helping the world out with exchange rates, etc.
@Monitor - I am discouraged by your post here. Please, go back and read some of your...
Nice Jacket there. I've bought from and sold to Bankshot, and he is indeed first class. Honest, reliable, very prompt on communication and will make sure it is packed and shipped right! Buy with confidence here if this works out for you...
So back to Terry's original question, "How do I organize this collection?"
Personally, being in the engineering field, I would start with Microsoft Excel. Yes, I really said that on FL.
Make a spreadsheet of your jackets. I would include Manufacturer Name, Production Date (apx.), Jacket...
I think you can. I have a "size 42" 4-pocket CR that is pretty trim fitting. It's actually for sale if you want to check one out, not sure if the size would work for you but it's here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/aero-4-pocket-cafe-racer-steerhide-42.106623/
Michael - you have indeed come to the right place.
My condolances - thoughts & prayers due to the passing of your father.
That is indeed quite the jacket. Could you take measurements of the jacket -

I would persoanlly reccommed against that style of jacket for motorcycling, unless you want to do a "tweed ride" (vintage style & reproduction). There are may other much better styles that work well for that type of activitiy.
I think getting into correct (or your preffered) shape is the best choice here.
Major congratualtions on quitting smoking! I've never smoked, but I understand it is incredibly difficult to do. Keep the "quitting" up and you'll feel a lot better - I lost an aunt to this a year back - she died...
