    Got out my uncle's humidor - it's not anything expensive and I like it's simplicity. Is the small round "stone" at the top interior part of the lid for humidity? If so. then I'm assuming you wet this? Do you take it off to be wetted or do you wet it in place? Will regular water be ok...

    Silk or Not - how do you determine?

    I've got several ties that are unmarked as to the material of which they are made. I've compared them to my two silk ties and they aren't as smooth but they are close. So how does one determine if something is silk if it isn't marked? Thanks for the help. John
