How did you draw your own skirt sloper? I'm in the process of designing a dress. I have finished the bodice sloper. This is the website I used, http://www.leenas.com/English/draw_patterns.html. I really liked the instructions and I know they have some directions for skirt slopers also.- MarieAnne

Hmm, I'm not sure. I think it was called soft crinoline...you know what, it doesn't fray so it must be tulle (right?) Anyways, it's specially made for petticoats because it's not scratchy. I finally made a crinoline. I love it! I used my serger to gather the tiers so it was super easy. The bottom tier is 40m. Tada! And here it is with my first circle skirt. I decided to do the hem by hand. It wasn't as hard as I imagined it would be. Haha, you can see my reverse...- MarieAnne

Vintage Exercise Techniques
A skipping rope! I did kickboxing in university, and it's an excellent combination of strength training, cardio and endurance. I really enjoyed it and it got me in great shape. It's intense like spinning but there's more interaction, talking to people, and laughing. -

Viscount sewing machines?
Does the machine have a vertical (with bobbin case) asssembly or a horizontal (drop-in bobbin) assembly? If it's a drop-in bobbin make sure to get the class-66 bobbins.- MarieAnne
