Pretty miserable here today. Went for my Northwest Hats 'Rainhat'. I asked Mike for something durable so he added extra water repellent to it. It's indyesqe in style without being accurate to any particular film.
There is a poor quality phone picture in the 'What hat are you wearing today' thread, but I'll try and get some better quality pictures at the weekend.
My lawless hat was made from Mike's Sahara felt. It is an extremely versatile colour. It will go with pretty much anything. Good choice, looking forward to some pics!
Hi Jon
Your story sounds similar to my own. I had always had an interest in hats, partly from a certain Dr Jones but more particularly from my interest in Film Noir. It was only when I reached a certain age that I felt comfortable wearing a fedora, and it was roughly a year or so ago that I...
Some amazing hats/caps today, but I must say DJH I really love the whippet style and that is an excellent example.

Some amazing hats over the last few days.
Here's a really quick camera phone shot of my latest hat from Northwest Hats, a hat in the style of Tom Hardy's fedora in 'Lawless'. I changed some of the specs to suit me, and went for what is probably a lighter colour than the actual hat in the...
Funnily enough I have been pondering the same question in the last week or so. I am looking for some sun protection on a tour of Turkish archeological sites later this year. I settled on the banjo.
MoK - My parents live in Kent, I spent my first 18 years there. I see some of the villages near where they live are having problems. Hopefully the weather will improve soon. I'm from west of the Medway so if I remember correctly that makes me a former Kentish Man.
Fantastic hats, and I'm loving the hats in the snow pics, it makes a pleasant change from the rain we're getting.
We've also just received a flood warning (I live near the Thames and it has become really swollen with all the rain and the river is still tidal here so come high tide.... Our...
