I did a little research and found the 1962 Federal Trade Commission annual report. It lists Byer Rolnick as owners of Resistol, Churchill, Bradford, Kevin McAndrew, and Ecuadorian.

I found a reference online in the Garland Daily News, March 13, 1960, which mentions a Byer Rolnick sales convention, including the Kevin McAndrew sales division. Too hard to read the entire article, the print is so small.

That looks really good! Is there any resemblance to a Resistol? I have been told that Resistol owned Kevin McAndrew at one point.

1958 - 1983 the Byer Rolnick Corp. plant in Garland, was local 129. The Resistol Rough hat plant in Longview was 128. 1983-1995 should have Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union.

What a great find! I am a big fan of Resistol westerns of that vintage. I think your dates are right on. The skinny ribbon looks good!

I love that CD with the beaded band, and would like to try the Mahogany Lager. Is it an an Oktoberfest beer, or one of the regulars?

A great stout! Love that Guiness. Would have been better for tonight's chilli, but you have to make due sometimes. Some good looking Belgians out this time of year, time for some shopping
