It does look like there are a lot of Homburgs and the snap brims are mostly snapped up. I guess for visibility. Of the few snapped down ones visible, there are none I can see with any swoop to 'em. Obviously none of Jimmy the lid's relatives were at the game that day.- suitedcboy

Airport Security
I'm always hatted for air travel and I have only been asked to put in through Xray one time. I believe it was in Toronto. I am not even asked to remove it for inspection but at most half the time.- suitedcboy

Can't help it, I like how I look in a felt hat
I'm with you ML, I just can't get in sync with straw. I wear felts year round but I do cut way back in summer. I don't sweat so bad that I can't wear a felt to the car from the office and vice versa. The a/c in my cars and in my office all work well.- suitedcboy

In 1974 a $75 western hat was near the top of the price range. Ryon's is still at that same location on North Main in Ft Worth. I believe it is Luskey/Ryon's now. There is another Ryon's up the street, Sean Ryon's but that is a separate store owned by one of the Ryon family descendants.- suitedcboy
