And that box....the presidential seal seems new in comparison to the aging on the...

Derby, Western, Fedora...a Venerable Legend, THE Stetson 3X...BEFORE 1970!!!!

A later 50's 3X Fedora......when these began again in a dress weight felt (as part of the fedora line in the very early 50's) they were $15 fedoras and included a "Mode Edge" (a type of felted or "Cavanaugh Edge") and a wind-cord......medallion in the liner tip was a simple 3X roundel in gold...

    Jiffy Hat Steamer

Distilled white vinegar works wonders for removing mineral deposits in streamers (and coffee makers and glasswear). Often hardware stores carry a "strong" cleaning white vinegar for very reasonable prices......

What is your favorite hat crease?

As a bump, here is the latest "wonky" crease for a project hat.....hat was re-blocked and re-flanged then I had to add a new ribbon (did not have to replace the binding) off setting the bow towards the rear. Then went to work on the crease......I THINK I am done now.....the front pinches are...

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Yes...this guy bugs me a LOT.....he also exaggerates the type and age of the hats....lately EVERY hat has been a "Fifteen".....I really don't understand how Ebay lets him get away with it (even uses key words which you are not supposed to do anymore).....must have some secret pull somewhere.......
