Do you think it is sexy if a man dresses in Vintage clothes?

Gotta love Desi and his baggies! :) He was so cool. Agreed. I often mutter and feel let down afterward.

    Nothing but Seamed Stockings

Definitely. Up until about the 1960s, all stockings had seams.

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

I can't make Ginsberg out. Is he impatient because he thinks he's too much of a genius to start at the bottom...? Fantastic picture. Thanks for posting it :) She probably saw it that way in part because she is a cold, cold person! No wonder Lane fantasized about Playboy bunnies and young...

    Dressing for ‘Gilligan’s Island’

I always did wonder how Ginger got all her outfits onto the boat, and why her make-up and hairspray supply never ran out lol

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

No wonder, considering how she arranged her priorities: I'm a little bored with these "I was there!" stories that say how Mad Men really isn't what life was like in the 60s. Do people assume that a historically correct aesthetic automatically makes the show a documentary?

Do you think it is sexy if a man dresses in Vintage clothes?

A man doesn't necessarily have to dress in vintage clothes to impress me - If he's wearing a sharply tailored suit though, like Don Draper, then my heart will probably begin to pound. ;) I "dress vintage" all the time, so what feels more casual to me is really dressy to the person next to...

SWANK ADVICE-Don't ask because you won't like the answer

I get that all. the. time. Especially about my collector Barbie's - "Wow, what a collection! Those are worth money!" There is no other reason why I would collect them...? I understand where you're coming from, but do you think that mentoring is (or should be) more about the...

Foam Rollers with a hooded dryer?

I tried that once when, in the morning, I found my hair hadn't dried completely. (I didn't leave them in long enough.) It didn't work very well at all - I don't think the hairdryer can circulate air properly around the foam rollers.

What makeup are you wearing today?

I adore it! I was surprised to find out that the hue fades away gradually, but touch ups every three years are no problem, and the benefits outweigh that anyway: Now I do not have to worry about my brows smearing off, and it saves me so much time in the morning. :)

SWANK ADVICE-Don't ask because you won't like the answer

I'm sorry to hear you had to be subjected to that, but I'm sure you handled it with grace. What I want to know is why acheivement always has to be tied in with money? This guy might have been on a better track if he'd asked you for advice on how he could have his own radio show too, but I'm...

Today's Pinup Fashion a Sly Wink to the Past - New York Times

You're quite right! I had a professor who went a step further and said that constant profanity actually made the words meaningless, which was upsetting to him because he thought that "took the art out of it" The statistic for sexy advertisements for drug companies sticks out to...

What makeup are you wearing today?

I agree with Tatum about BareMinerals foundation, and I will suggest any Clinique foundation if you'd like a liquid alternative. Clinique is always your best bet for sensitive, irritated or allergy-prone skin. Today: Too Faced Shadow Insurance Benefit Magic Ink eyeliner Buxom Mascara in...

Easy haircut- can I go "unvintage"?

You've got a real yen for asymmetric cuts! :) They look great - very edgy, especially multi-coloured. Are you going to go that extreme with your cut? If you are, then I wonder how well you can adapt it into a vintage look. It's important to note that there is no real vintage "cut" - For...

    Tattoos.

Looks fantastic!! You're a great artist! Fear of needles and pain sensitivity have little to do with getting a tattoo - I have both and I have been tattooed successfully multiple times. :) Your design concept is interesting. Most people start with several separate pieces and then tie...

Lucky you! I go to bed on Sundays before the show airs, so I watch it Monday evening, and try not to peek into this thread before ;)

    Dita Von Teese

I haven't seen her perform, so I can't really comment, but I am surprised that her act might contain issues with racial stereotypes. I don't know if that would stop me from seeing her act, though - some people like to cry racisism when that is probably not what was intended at all. I would...

Today's Pinup Fashion a Sly Wink to the Past - New York Times

I don't think its okay at all, either. What counts as socially acceptable today just seems backward to me. Women fought for years to be able to do the simple things that men could do (voting, riding a horse astride or even walking through a bank) and women these days hate the title "feminist"...
